Vision Statement

Empowering Communities Through Education and Sustainability

At Tianjin Golden Mountain Trade Co., Ltd., we are committed to transforming education in Myanmar by providing rural schools with electricity through solar panels and lithium battery systems. This initiative powers classrooms, extends learning hours, and enhances educational opportunities. We also donate school supplies to hundreds of students annually and operate our factory using sustainable solar energy, minimizing environmental impact. Our ultimate goal is to bring solar power to 1,000 schools, lighting the way to a brighter future.

OUR ActionS

Strengthening Communities

We are improving the lives of local communities through 3 actions:

  • Our Operations: We are committed to sustainable manufacturing practices. Our factory is powered by 700 solar panels and a 645 kWh lithium battery storage system, generating clean energy and reducing our carbon footprint.
  • Employee Welfare: We prioritize the well-being of our factory employees. Twice yearly during Songkran (April) and the Festival of Lights (October), we distribute over $10,000 in essentials such as rice and oil to our employees.
  • Disaster Relief: During Myanmar’s rainy season in September, we provide essential aid to areas severely affected by flooding, such as Choneinn Village, Tagaya Township, Yae Tar Shae, and the Bago division. Our contributions include clothing, blankets, food, water, and flashlights, addressing immediate needs during natural disasters. This initiative ensures prompt, impactful support for vulnerable communities.

Empowering Education

We are transforming education for rural schools in Myanmar through three actions:

  • Annual School Supplies Donations: Every June, we provide 350 students with essential learning materials such as notebooks and stationery, reducing the financial burden on families and supporting education.
  • Solar-Powered Classrooms: Through the “Light Up Myanmar School Classrooms” project, we install solar panels, batteries, and fans in schools to provide consistent electricity.
  • Scalable Impact: With the goal of electrifying 1,000 schools, we use part of our revenue to continuously fund solar installations, ensuring sustainable progress across rural regions.

Why Our Actions Matter

  • Addressing Energy Gaps: Many schools in rural Myanmar rely on natural light or temporary power, limiting learning hours and resources. By harnessing Myanmar’s abundant solar potential, we provide reliable and clean electricity for schools, which enables schools to extend study hours, host extracurricular activities, and utilize technology, directly improving the educational experience for students.
  • Sustainability: Solar power is a long-term solution with low maintenance costs, making it ideal for rural areas. We ensure effective implementation and ongoing support by partnering with local NGOs and experts.
